‘Fingernut’ (noun.) definition: A dedicated fan of Australian rock group ‘Powderfinger’. Coined by Chris Chester of the band ‘Jet’ during last year’s Sunset Tour, referring to fans who’d been to so many Powderfinger concerts that year, that even Jet (who were a support act for most of the tour) began to recognise them.
